Through storytelling and body workshops and a participatory performance presentation at WAMA, the fears of women with a migration background and East German life stories are explored. The central question \u201cWhat are you afraid of?\u201d is answered by the participants, who share their fears from their own experiences, realities, and contexts. The collected fears are recorded in texts and audio and presented in two participatory performances. These create a collective space for empowerment, connection, processing fears, and breaking down prejudice. The process includes listening, naming, sharing, self-recognition, and noticing the feeling of fear in the body. Through the anonymous public presentation of texts and audio of individual fears during the performance, the audience can share in the emotions. At the end of the performances, there will be a discussion circle with those present.
