Do you have a migration background and are you interested in art, or are you artistically active?<\/p>\n\n

Would you like to take part in a creative process inspired by your personal story?<\/p>\n\n

Then join our project: Migrant narratives: Empowerment and presence<\/p>\n\n

We offer you a safer space for creating, sharing, and working together. We will experiment with different artistic forms of expression such as performance, writing, video, photography, and painting. In an accompanying programme, we will explore a range of topics rooted in your personal experiences. <\/p>\n\n

From autobiographical perspectives, we will engage with empowerment strategies. In a collective space, we will develop our own strategies for action and empowerment processes through discursive, embodied, and artistic methods. <\/p>\n\n

BIPoC women* and women* with a refugee or migration background are invited!<\/p>\n\n

About the artist<\/strong> <\/strong>Karina Villavicencio is a visual artist who draws transdisciplinary inspiration from decolonial theories and feminism. She studied painting in C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina, and then lived and studied in France for many years, where she also completed a research master\u2019s in art theory and artistic practices. Through her art, she addresses current socio-political issues at the intersection of performance, photography, and research, from a gender and migration perspective. https:\/\/karinavillavicencio.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n
